St. Anthony's Mission Statement
(revised in
1998)
As a Catholic Faith
community rooted in the teachings and traditions of our past, and discerning
a spiritual vision for the twenty-first century, we set forth the mission of
our parish, St. Anthony of Padua, Cortland, New
York:
To gather as a family of
faith and draw strength and guidance from the Sacrament of the Word and
nourishment from the Sacrament of the Table.
To celebrate our
sacramental life with responsible Gospel living and witnessing through
religious education, evangelization, and sensitivity to social justice, and,
To walk in discipleship by
embracing the call to service.
